stylestools needed:

components
print & cut invitation

Choose your photograph or image and have duplicates made, or scan and print multiples from your computer (several images should fit on one 8.5" x 11" sheet).

Crop if necessary and cut to size (A). To create a backing for your photo, cut the included paper 1/2" wider and taller than your photo - this will create a 1/4" border around your photo when mounted.

adhere photo to backing & hang tag

Apply adhesive to the back of your photo or image. Carefully center photo onto the photo backing, allowing a 1/4" border on all sides (B).

Apply adhesive to the back of the photo & backing layer. Decide how far from the top and bottom of the hang tag you want the photo & backing layer to be, and then carefully position on the front of the hang tag (C). Adhere. Cover with scrap paper and run a bone folder lightly over your photo and backing to force out air bubbles.

print & cut text

The text will be mounted to the back of your hang tag. Print your invitation or announcement, six per 8.5" x 11" sheet (D). (It may take a few trys to achieve a layout you like - do a few test runs). Using a razor knife and straight edge or paper cutter, cut to 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" (E).

adhere photo to backing & hang tag

Apply adhesive to the back of your 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" printed layer. Carefully center the printed layer onto the reverse side of the hang tag (F). Adhere. attach ribbon

Cut a 12" length of ribbon and tie on hang tag in one of the styles shown.

style I: bow
Fold the ribbon in half and tie a knot at the center. Thread the two ends of the ribbon through the back of the hang tag, and tie into a bow on the front.

style II: bookmark knot
Fold the ribbon in half and thread the two ends through the back of the hangtag, leaving a loop of the ribbon in the back. Thread the two ribbon ends through the loop and pull them until the loop is snug at the top of the hang tag.

style III: bookmark knot & bow
Tie the bookmark knot as shown in styl II but bring the loop down in front of the hole. Tie the ribbon ends into a bow. After tying, trim the ends of the ribbon.
