Step 1: Print & Cut Layers
We always recommend printing a practice copy on scrap paper first to ensure the text of your layers aligns properly.
Layer 1 - Print your invitation onto printable vellum paper (you can fit two on each 8 1/2" x 11" sheet). It may take a few tries to achieve a layout you like. Using a craft knife or paper cutter, cut the vellum down to 4 5/8" x 6 5/8".
Layer 2 - Choose a decorative paper for your background layer - this layer does not get printed. Cut to 4 3/4" x 6 3/4".
Step 2: Bind the Invitation
Carefully center your vellum layer and decorative paper layer over the red flat card. Leave an equal border on all sides. Carefully paper clip the invitation together to keep it secure while you punch a hole.
Measure and mark the center of your card where you want the hole to be. Punch through the invitation layers with a 1/8" hole punch.
Place a red 1/8" eyelet into the hole. Flip card with eyelet face down and place eyelet setting tool in back of eyelet. Hit setting tool with hammer to flatten eyelet.
Decorate vellum layer with ladybug stickers.
Step 3: Line the Envelope
To line the envelope, trace the A7 envelope template onto decorative paper. Cut out the shape. Slide the liner into the envelope and adhere with a glue stick. Smooth with a bone folder if necessary.
