Acorn Embossing Plates

With a desk embosser and the Acorn embossing plate you can make impressions into paper with a technique called blind embossing, which raises an image without color (think Braille). Our paper embossers can work with text or cover weight paper (not recommended for use on luxe or shimmer paper), making them perfect for envelopes, note cards, letterhead, even napkins.

Some of our motif images are multi-directional, while others must be ordered to be used specifically for the top or bottom of your paper (see orientation examples below). Please select the plate with the appropriate paper weight and orientation.

Production time = 5-7 business days (additional time required for shipping). We are currently unable to ship embosser orders to addresses outside of the United States.
Plate type = 2" circle embosser plate (usable area depends on custom text, approximately 1 1/2")

Please note: A desk embosser (sold separately) is required to use our embossing plates. Embosser plate orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are based on your order subtotal. Custom orders have special shipping rates. For workshops and gift cards ground shipping is free.

Shipping rates apply to orders within the continental United States. Paper Source does not currently ship to international overseas locations. For more information please see our shipping policy

Shipping rates do not apply to bookboard or other heavy items. Shipping for these items will be calculated on a per order basis. You will be notified via email with a shipping quote for your approval before your order is shipped.

Expedited Shipping
2 Day and Standard Overnight orders must be received by 2pm EST to ship out the same day (assuming all items are in stock). Please note: 2 Day and Standard Overnight deliveries are made Monday through Friday.

Saturday delivery is an extra $12 in addition to the Standard Overnight or 2 Day charges. Please call to request Saturday delivery - your request must be confirmed by a Paper Source representative.

Expedited shipping options for custom printing will not decrease production time for order; only transit time will decrease.

Paper Source Gift Packaging
Gift packaging is available for this item for an extra charge. We will pack your gift with care in tissue paper, place into our signature kraft box and wrap with a paper band. After adding your item to the shopping cart you will have the opportunity to add gift packaging during check out. You may also add a gift message, which will be printed on the packing slip for your order.

Please note, we are unable to combine multiple items into one gift box. Gift packaging is not available for all items on our website and is noted when available.
