Yuzen Bluebell Pool Chrysanthemum Fine Paper

Japanese decorative papers reflect the superb craftsmanship, design sensibilities and rich variety of the Edo Period (1630 - 1868). Chiyogami papers are characteristically small dense patterns that were originally wood block prints but are now typically silk screened.

Specially made just for us using Paper Source colors, this wonderful stylized chrysanthemum pattern which symbolizes superior character is silk screened in pool, lake, bluebell, night, chartreuse, plum and white with metallic gold accents on handmade Kozo paper. It is ideally suited for bookbinding because of its strength and glueability. It is also excellent for origami, collage paper crafts, lampshades, card making, and wedding invitations.
