Japanese decorative papers reflect the superb craftsmanship, design sensibilities and rich variety of the Edo Period (1630 - 1868). Chiyogami papers are characteristically small dense patterns that were originally wood block prints but are now typically silk screened.

Specially made just for us using Paper Source colors, this sophisticated check pattern, in our perfect red and gold silk screened onto handmade Kozo paper is ideally suited for bookbinding because of its strength and glueability. It is also excellent for origami, collage paper crafts, lampshades, card making, baby announcements and of course... wedding invitations.
