Yuzen Sage Gold Grid Fine Paper

Japanese decorative papers reflect the superb craftsmanship, design sensibilities and rich variety of the Edo Period (1630 - 1868). Chiyogami papers are characteristically small dense patterns that were originally wood block prints but are now typically silk screened.

This dramatic metallic grid pattern is silk screened in gold and white on sage giving it a subtle patina look. On handmade Kozo paper, it is ideally suited for bookbinding because of its strength and glueability. It is also excellent for origami, collage paper crafts, lampshades, card making, and of course... wedding invitations.
